André Veltkamp

Biographical short film

André Veltkamp was the director of the Amsterdam Theatre Academy for 12 years. For his farewell party – he retired this year – the school asked O.N.S. to make a documentary on his life and career. The one thing we at O.N.S. and André have in common is our love for cooking. So we decided to film him while he cooks a great meal. A sort of last supper for his loved ones. During the day, as the cooking progresses, important people from his life drop by to ask him an important, intimate question.
